Sean Missal, Vice President

Sean Missal began his insurance career with a nationally recognized P&C Insurer as a mono-line Fidelity/Crime production underwriter, specifically for commercial accounts, financial institutions and public entities. As his career continued, he expanded to underwriting specialized classes of business with high value exposures, such as armored car companies, check cashers, casinos and ATM operators. He advanced to management positions and was responsible for his direct reports, underwriting of these classes of business, expense management and the overall P&L for the profit center.

Sean's career progressed as he joined another large P&C Insurer where he was responsible for growing domestic specialized crime and general specie book of business. To accomplish this he continued to produce and underwrite accounts with high value exposures and successfully built a profitable underwriting unit focused on these unique risks.

As part of Berkley Asset Protection Underwriting Managers, LLC, Sean is responsible for the overall management of standard Fidelity/Crime and Specialized Crime products.
